Covid-19 Our Response
With COVID-19 now a global pandemic, we have taken steps to protect the health and safety of our lawyers, staff, business partners and their families, while minimizing business interruption.
We have moved to remote working for our lawyers and staff, other than for limited functions for which our office remains open. We are leveraging our long-standing investment in the latest technology for lawyers and staff to work remotely so that we are able to continue to provide seamless and timely quality service to our clients during these uncertain times. Our pre-existing business continuity plans have been expanded, in consultation with our expert IT and accounting personnel, to ensure that we have uninterrupted access to all our critical systems as we manage any crisis scenario.
In order to protect all concerned, we have implemented policies to comply with recommendations of Canadian and Ontario public health agencies for office sanitation and for screening, meeting and event protocols. We have eliminated ‘in person’ client meetings and moved to telephone and video conferencing where appropriate.
All of these measures are continuously being re-evaluated and adjusted as events transpire and best practices guidelines evolve.
We are committed to remaining responsive to our clients during the COVID-19 pandemic and are fully dedicated to the health and welfare of our community. If you have any questions, please email us at info@chaitons.com or contact any of our professionals directly.
For the sake of our entire community, we look forward to life returning to normal as soon as possible.
